Moderator Guide - Murder

1. Do not abuse your powers.
3. If you believe a player of hacking/metagaming spectate them for a few rounds to make sure.
4. Do not undo a higher ranks command.
5. Try not to use ulx murder to find out the murderers identity.
6. Only kick spectators after asking them directly if they're afk.
7. Do not remove your own warnings unless instructed to by an admin or higher.

Punishments:

RDM:
- After a player RDM's you must slay the offending player.
- If a player RDM's warn them the first two times. If they persist and RDM a third time you may kick them. If they return and continue, temporarily ban them for 3 days.

Exploiting a bug:
- Depending on the severity of the bug, give a punishment you deem appropriate; Warning or kicking. If you believe the punishment should involve a ban, call an admin.

Avoiding punishment:
- If a player breaks the rules and then leaves the server before being punished, temporarily ban them for 3 days.

Spamming:
- If a player is mic spamming verbally warn them, if they continue gag them for 5 minutes. If they persist after being ungagged issue a warning. If they do not stop after following this continue to gag them.
- If a player is text spamming follow the above process but with muting.

Door blocking:
- If a player is door blocking use either csay or psay and ask them to stop. If they persist you may slay and warn them.

Delaying the round:
- If a player is delaying the round use either csay or psay and ask them to stop. If they persist you may slay and warn them.

Metagaming:
- If a player is metagaming warn them. If they continue ban them for 24 hours.

Prop surfing:
- If a player is prop surfing warn them. If they continue ban them for 3 days.

Gun camping:
- Gun camping is a form of delaying the round. So use either csay or psay and ask them to stop. If they persist you may slay and warn them.

Discrimination:
- If a player is discriminating against another, first ask the victim if he is getting offended. This is to make sure that they aren't simply friends mucking around. If the victim is getting offended, you may kick and warn the offending player.

Pornographic sprays:
- If a player joins with a pornographic spray you can ban them for 3 days.

Arguing with staff:
- If a player argues with your decision you may gag/mute them for an appropriate amount of time. If they persist you may kick them. If they continue after rejoining you can ban them for 24 hours.
